Is one of the best known restaurants in Lisbon’s LGBT community and the most mythical in the city with over 30 years of operation.
This restaurant is located in the heart of Bairro Alto, Lisbon.
It’s not on a main street, but it’s very easy to get there, for those who don’t know just put the name of the restaurant on google maps or ask where the police station is in Bairro Alto and the restaurant is almost opposite.

The staff belong to the LGBT community or are very friendly, which makes you feel almost at home and very comfortable. Is also one of our favorite places in Lisbon to have group dinners.
The restaurant is not large and although it has 2 rooms it’s almost always full, so we recommend that you always book, whether for dinner with your partner or with a group of friends. It’s a place with beautiful decor, a welcoming atmosphere, low lights, red tones, many tables with couples and sometimes some groups, but even so you don’t have the usual confusion of group dinners. It also has a super friendly, young and cute staff.
This restaurant is frequently visited by the Portuguese diva Simone de Oliveira (Portuguese singer, theater and television actress), you will also notice on the walls the various pictures dedicated to her.
The menu has typical Portuguese dishes, such as codfish (delicious), steaks, Portuguese snacks and others and the famous Portuguese sangria. At the entrance you also have a small bar, where you can enjoy a drink while your table is not ready.
As for the price it’s normal for Lisbon, it’s not expensive and it’s not the cheapest, but we say that here you can eat with quality and with a lot of variety. Maybe this is the place for you.
