Prague's nightlife is diverse enough to accommodate all tastes. The nightlife in Prague can range from fancy cocktail lounges to thrumming EDM clubs, classy wine bars to grungy basement pubs and many many things in between.

Prague's nightlife is diverse enough to accommodate all tastes. The nightlife in Prague can range from fancy cocktail lounges to thrumming EDM clubs, classy wine bars to grungy basement pubs and many many things in between.

As indicated above, Prague does not have an exclusive street or an exclusive gay zone, but we can say that the biggest gay zone in Prague is Vinohrady district.

All the bars we went to, accept payments with card and are not huge places, but we guarantee that there is a bar for all tastes and every night you have several options where to go. You cannot smoke inside any bar.

We think gay people in Prague are somewhat shy. They look at you but they don't get into a lot of conversation. Maybe after a few drinks things will change. If you have a dating app (you know which), then you'll be approached a lot.

The city has many gay bars, so we couldn't go to all of them but we leave some suggestions where you can go:

- Klub 21 - This bar located in a basement is quite famous and popular with locals. The staff is very friendly and you'll find all kinds of customers, most of them are men of all ages.

You will not easily find this bar. It is on a normal street in the Vinohrady district and there is almost no information that there is a bar. Luckily we found it. There is a small logo at the entrance to the building. To enter, ring the bell, cross the building's courtyard and at the end of the left-hand side you have the entrance to the bar. Go down circular stone stairs and you're there. Despite this description it's all pretty safe and even though it looks intimidating, it's a perfectly normal bar. This was one of our favorite bars in town.

- The Saints - It is also located in a basement, but this one does have a sign with the name.

It's easy to find. Small cozy bar in Vinohrady. Popular hang-out of gay expats in Prague. The staff are very friendly and create a good atmosphere.

- Heaven Bar & Club - Closer to the old town and the dancing house. The entrance is easy to find, but first you enter a sex shop that belongs to the bar and then go downstairs and you have the club with a dance floor. On the first floor you have a small bar.

We never saw any information explaining, but inside, in one of the toilet doors with a smoking area sign, there's a long hallway with several cabins, where we think there might be some action.

The bar has some themed nights so check their Facebook and Instagram before you go.

- Café Bar Flirt - Located in the old town and open from the afternoon. The stylish décor makes for a pleasant atmosphere. There is a dance floor in the basement.

- Club Garage - Bar with cruising area.

- Termix - Frequented by locals and works as a nightclub on weekends.

- Factory Club - Bar with cruising area.

- Friends Bar - Is open from the afternoon and is frequented by younger locals.

- Piano Bar - Bar with drag shows, bingo and karaoke nights.

These were some examples of what exists in Prague, but there is much more and if you want to go to other non-Lgbt places you can go to Zizkov, it is a main residential neighborhood but is also a vibrant and alive Prague nightlife district.
