EUROPRIDE VALLETTA 2023 - MALTA ISLAND
We had already been present at Malta Pride 2022 and when we found out that EuroPride 2023 was going to be in Valletta, we couldn't resist and went too and it was fantastic! #equalityfromtheheart
We were in Malta for the second time, for 10 days and we took the opportunity to revisit the places we had been and also celebrate EuroPride 2023. The streets of Malta were all decorated with rainbows.
In addition to various events and exhibitions that took place throughout the week, in different locations, there was also the Pride Village, at Pjazza Tritoni in Floriana, with several kiosks and also the stage with different shows every night. It was quite pleasant to be there, with fantastic nights surrounded by lots of lively people and watching the different shows.
The highlight, as always, is the Pride March on Saturday and a crowd attended, with many floats roaming the streets of Valletta! It was a fantastic parade that ended near Pjazza Tritoni. And then, well, then there was the highly anticipated Official EuroPride Valletta Concert featuring Christina Aguilera! Before Christina there was also an amazing lineup.
To end that night, there were several parties in Malta and we chose to go to the Grand Main Party - Powered by WE party, at Sky Club Malta.
With WE Party resident DJ and many Go-Go dancers, it was a night full of music, lights and lots of beautiful people!
The following Sunday, and to finish off the Europride Valletta 2023 celebrations, in the afternoon we went to the Closing Party Disco Tits Pool Party! A hot and wet afternoon and night, with lots of lively people, DJs and entertainers.
We spent 6 nights in Malta and another 3 nights on the island of Gozo, to make the most of everything and we loved it once again.
We advise everyone to visit Malta because it's a fantastic place where the LGBT community is very well received.
