MALTA BY NIGHT
Gay nightlife in Malta is not very big, but almost all venues are very gay friendly.
We think that there aren't many gay places because the island is really small, but we also think that there would be room for more.
The idea we had was that the locals participate more in the various events and parties that take place throughout the year.
If you like to dance you have a club, the Michelangelo Club Lounge, located right in the middle of busy Paceville and open every night from 10pm to 4am. The price of drinks is normal for Malta, during the week at the entrance you pay β¬10 with 2 drinks and at the weekend β¬15 with 2 drinks. Here you can find a mix of locals and tourists.
We found the staff very friendly, always smiling and in a good mood, which is often not found at night.
In Valletta you also have the 222 City lounge by Michelangelo Club Lounge, with a calmer atmosphere, located near the port of Valletta and with an amazing decor and space. We enjoyed it a lot and once again we have to highlight the friendly staff... We went for more than one night, they remembered our drinks and once again always with a smile on their face and in a good mood. Here at 222 City Lounge you can also dine or simply have a drink. Keep an eye on their social media, as there are several nights with small events/themes.
If you want, you can also go to the Maori Bar in Valletta, with beautiful murals and great views, Yard 32, the gay-friendly Gin and Tapas bar in Valletta, among other small bars in Valletta that you will discover as you walk through the streets.
At the party level, follow the Lollipop Party social networks and see where and when the next one will happen. There is a Pop trash gay club night that takes place at various venues around Malta, usually on a Saturday.
