MALAGA

GAY MEN ON THE GO - GAY TRAVEL - GAY DAY - GAY NIGHT

Being in Torremolinos it is mandatory to visit Malaga.

The city is only about a 15 minute drive from Torremolinos. Malaga is a fantastic city and it was one we most enjoyed visiting. It is a very big city, full of energy and movement, full of history, art, culture, authenticity and good food.

If you like the mix between the old and the modern, here you’ll find that. In the city you will find beautiful cafes, large squares and streets and impressive architecture.

When looking for a large shopping avenue, you really have to go through Calle Larios, one of the most expensive streets in Spain, compared to 5th Avenue in New York and the Champs Élysées in Paris.

Visit Alcazaba, which is a palace fortification in Malaga. At the entrance you can buy the ticket to visit only Alcazaba or both Alcazaba and the Castle of Gibralfaro. Note that the entrance to the castle is different and next to Alcazaba. The ticket for Alcazaba costs 3,5€ and if you buy together with the Castle it is 5€.
If you visit the Castle, prepare your legs for the big climb. But at the top you have unique views over the city, the port and the entire Mediterranean.

Next to the Alcazaba you can visit a Roman temple, the oldest site in Malaga. Very close to here you also have the impressive Cathedral of Malaga, where you can climb the 200 steps of the 87 meter high tower and have a 360 degree panoramic view of the city.

Walk through the countless streets of the center and we guarantee that you will love the vibe that you feel on the streets.

Malaga was the city where Pablo Picasso was born, so visit his Museum, which is right in the center of the city, next to the Cathedral. Malaga is a city of museums. As we already said, you have the Picasso Museum, Center Pompidou de Malaga, Carmen Thyssen Museum, Museum of the City, among others.

If you want and like the beach you also have them in Malaga. You have, for example, Malagueta beach, Pedregalejo beach, La caleta, among others.

Also visit the giant port of Malaga, with its large and modern promenade, Passeo del Muelle uno, with bars, restaurants and this is where the Center Pompidou is located. In the middle of the walk you have the Palmeral de las Sorpresas which is an area with palm trees and art. if you visit the city by car, just like us, this is the best parkink to park, right under the Pompidou Center. The name of the Park is Parking Muelle Uno.

Malaga is really an impressive city and we were so excited to return to stay for a few days in the city and we’ll do so in the next time.
